A new hotel proposed on a narrow site in the MSG area came with zoning and code restrictions to overcome.  We were able to propose 22 floors with eight rooms each surrounding a central open light well that illuminated the interior hallways as well as provided additional floor area for additional hotel rooms.  We imagined balconies that allowed for window cleaning but enabled the façade to cant to the exterior giving the interior a more expansive feeling.  Dining facilities, open floor banquet areas, and several other amenities were located on the lower floors.
